Clancy Days (June 13)

Clancy Days is a beloved annual small-town festival dedicated to celebrating the rich community spirit and people of our region. Hosted by the Jefferson Local Development Corporation (JLDC) and held each June, this full-day event transforms the streets of Clancy into a vibrant hub of family-friendly activities.

The festivities kick off with a hearty pancake breakfast at the local fire hall, fueling attendees for a fun-filled day. Gather around for a classic parade and impressive car show showcasing local hot rods and builds with personality. Find a handcrafted treasure, a sweet treat, or maybe your next summer read amongst the 100 vendor booths lining the town featuring artisan demonstrations, bake sales, and more.

A carnival, stick horse rodeo, and duck race down Clancy Creek are family favorites and surefire crowd pleasers. Historical presentations and living history experiences provided by the 2nd US Cavalry Association round out the day, offering a meaningful step back into Montana's heritage.

Fourth of July

Boulder’s annual Fourth of July parade starts and ends at Veterans Park on Main Street. Locals and visitors alike line the streets to enjoy the creative procession featuring local fire trucks, marching bands, horseback riders, vintage cars, and community floats.

Following the parade, the family-friendly fun continues in the park with food trucks, carnival games, and plenty more fun to be had. America’s birthday bash in Veterans Park starts at 11 AM and goes till 3 PM.

The celebration culminates at dusk with a spectacular fireworks display over Capitol Hill, capping off a patriotic day of community spirit.

Frontier Days (July 23 - 26)

The highly anticipated annual summer celebration returns July 23 through July 26! This year’s Frontier Days theme is “Red, White, and Blue.”

See Whitehall’s streets come to life as locals and visitors alike gather to enjoy the community parade, historical tours, lively Rod Run, and a classic car show. Two nights of thrilling rodeo action punctuate these summer evenings with bravery and bucking broncos.

Throughout the festival, Legion Street Park comes alive with a diverse array of street vendors and artisan booths. Complete with dancing, music, and great food, Whitehall Frontier Days serves as the ultimate showcase of the unique culture and community spirit that defines the area.

Music & Arts Festival (Sept. 12)

As summer begins to wind down, return to Boulder for the annual Music & Arts Festival, proudly sponsored by the JLDC this year.

Held each September under Montana’s open sky, the festival takes over Veterans Park on Main Street. Featuring a stellar lineup of live music, the festival showcases performances from talented local and regional artists all day long. Alongside the live entertainment, visitors can browse a diverse selection of regional artisan and craft vendor booths while sampling some great food.

Free and open to the public, the Music & Arts Festival offers a relaxed, welcoming environment. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, settle in for the day, and enjoy great music and great company.
